Validate important calculations

Formula examples use small fictional datasets to demonstrate specific techniques. Your workbook may contain different data types, business rules, named ranges, tables, links, macros, add-ins or locale settings. Always test important calculations with representative data and compare the result with an independent check.

Tool limitations

CellLingo tools can inspect or transform formula text, but they cannot see the full meaning of your workbook. A structural checker cannot know whether a referenced range contains the correct records, whether a threshold matches your policy, or whether an external data source is current. A formatter or translator can change presentation or supported syntax without proving that the underlying logic is correct.

Data safety

Keep backups before changing production workbooks. Do not send passwords, confidential workbook data or other sensitive information through the Contact form. Where a tool is described as browser-based, that description applies to the tool behavior implemented on the page; hosting, security and advertising systems may still process normal web-request information as described in the Privacy Policy.
